Relational Choreography

Whiteness relates to identity, but it is very much more than an identity position.

The reduction of whiteness to an individually held identity is a function of coloniality.

This is why WhiteSpaces resists the temptation to start from a discussion of white identities.

Its starting point is to explore whiteness as a dynamic shifting continually (re)produced formation of power.

Since 2015 I have been writing about such a dynamic shifting enactment in terms of a relational choreography.

I am in the process of bringing together  these various bits of writing and extending these here... watch this space... sign-up for updates to know when this finally lands....

It may even be December - an early Christmas present to myself, more than anyone taking the time to read here....
