Associations

WhiteSpaces works in association with other initiatives, people and organisations who have an ethos and practice which chimes with, but also enriches and extends the thinking and practices generated in WhiteSpaces offerings.


It is currently working with the Social Performance Network to extend its thinking on the intersections of social performativities in the performing arts and more broadly.


The first example of this work took place at Performing Race 2018 at Royal Central School for Speech and Drama in November 2018.

Disorienting Race: Re(lationally) choreographing resistance at Leeds at Leeds Beckett University in May 2019 is another example of this work.
